Oh, hey Tuesday, thanks for being such a sweet morning lover
I just spent about an hour with Ommwriter for the first time, which was a lovely writing experience with my words floating on that soft snowy hillside and the gentle, sort of haunting music in my ears. I started a new novel — an idea had over last summer after I woke from a very visceral dream. I wrote a short scene that morning, but never did anything else with it because it just seemed like a scene. Well, I opened it today and started writing about a few hours later in that day and a whole bunch of really interesting details came out and now I want to know a hell of a lot more.
Why am I starting a new novel when I have 60K words languishing in Storyist already? Because the old novel is just not talking to me at all right now and I need to write, fer chrissake. I daresay, I think this new story has legs.
I’m excited. But I’m restraining myself from banging on the exclamation point key a hundred times or from using allcaps to express my joy.
You’ll just have to take my word for it.
